It was another warm day at the start of summer vacation, almost every child who was released from school was either playing or on vacation. However there was one small boy who did not take his free time. He had chosen to use his free time to work in a local libarary. Puching the book care forward the putted back the books with a smile on his face. When he had to put a book back on a higher shelf he would try to reach for it only to get a small stairs to reach it. He stopped occasionally to make sure his tail was still neatly combed and sometimes even scratching his big fox ears.

There wasnt any summer class to teach that afternoon, and while in the summer the classes were shorter and spaced out, he enjoyed ever session. It was the best way he knew how to meet people and encouraging young minds to find pleasure in study by making it fun never lost its charm. Walking into the public library, Rahmu decided to read up a little on some new projects he was considering, and being affluent when it came to such places, he immediately sought out the section where the books he sought would be.
Passing by one of the many isles of high shelving, he stopped at the sight of a small boy working to re-shelve a cart full of books. He naturally seemed to have difficulty with the ones on higher shelves and Rahmu quietly walked over to lend a hand for some. "Hello? Do you need any help shelving those? I saw you climbing to reach the higher shelves and it'd be horrible if you fell doing that." He smiled softly at the boy, his white collared shirt hanging open and missing a tie today since there was no class. He admired that this rather animal-looking boy had chosen to take on a job in the community rather than waste away his summer. Few of his appearing age tended to bother with such things, after all.

"No.. I'm okay...." The boy said and streched out standing on his toes atempting to put a book back. "Almost... there... " He said but he knew he would never reach the shelf like this. The boy just felt like he could do it on his own and was determined to prove it to this man.

Rahmu chuckled softly and reached out to the book the boy was stretching to replace so determinedly and put it in its place for him. He looked at the boy with a sympathetic yet curious face, and said, "It's good that you're so independent, but you dont have to reject someone's help to prove you're capable. No one was made to do everything themselves, even if they try to anyway. Isnt it lonely like that?"

The boy looked stubborn and a tad angry at the man. "I could have done that myself... I work here... And I do this all the time." He atempted to go on putting the books back. " But I guess I should thank you for that... "

Rahmu just watched the boy but didnt offer to help him again, aware that he might have trudged on a soft spot just now. He lightly shrugged and turned his eyes upon the shelf next to him, idly scanning the book titles. "It's alright. I apologize for inferring. It was a tad rude of me, I suppose."

The boy looked at him curious why he actually understood, most people didnt. After silently putting books back he decided to talk. "Are oyu looking for something particular.. or elce I could reconmend something... Though... most poeple don't like my taste of books..." He admitted, placing the las tof the books from the cart.

Rahmu looked over at him and a faint smile crossed his lips. "I came to look for some books on origami projects. I've been working with some of the students on origami folding, so now I'm hoping to come up with some ideas to decorate with them. Years ago I made an origami mobile in my art class. But I didnt know anyone who had a baby so it's hanging up on my ceiling at home." He chuckled a little and reached up to a book that caught his eye, his attention on it while he continued to speak to the boy. "I think it would be nice for the students to put their artwork to more use than just to look pretty, dont you think?"

"But Art is meant for that... "He said looking at the man. "But The best origami is one traditionally... The book you would be able to use best would be on the next row, third shelf..... fith.. or sixt book from the left...." He took a closer look at the man. "You teach origami then...? I'm actually quite fond of japanese culture and antient legends.. I know most of them... " He placed the cart back to it's place and walked back to the man.

Rahmu paused in his brief read and looked over at the boy curiously. Then he smiled and returned the book to the shelf and turned slightly to face the other shelf. "Thanks. Knowing specifics helps in places like this."
He found it rather endearing as the boy went on to speak of his interests in the study himself, and Rahmu paused to consider the concept a moment. Then he said, "I dont just teach origami. I'm an art instructor, so I teach various art forms. Painting, calligraphy, origami, ceramics, paper mache and sculpting, illustration, you name it. Right now for summer courses I'm teaching Japanese art and beginning ceramics."

" you teach so much...? " He asked a tad curious. "you must be very skilled then... I'm actually quite good at kendo.. but i don't think you'd concider that art.. though perfecting my skills is artistic... if you ask me..." He noticed he started to ramble a bit so he stopped and looked at the man, a slight blush on his cheeks and looking a bit away.

Rahmu chuckled a little, his hand to his mouth like British people do. He dropped his hand and smiled at the curious boy before him and said, "Not all at once. I would kill myself with that much work. But having a long list of skills helps make it easy for educators to place instructors for certain courses."
His dark blue eyes perked open with interest when the boy mentioned kendo and smiled a little more than he had previously. "Kendo is an art form, it's just physical. All martial arts and dance are considered physical art forms. They all use a type of mental stimuli that helps enrich people. Where visual art expands on creativity with our basic motor skills, martial arts and dance expand on discipline. I think taking an interest in some area of both types is good for a person's healthy growth."

The boy looked a bit suprized. "What do you think of mythology? and legends and things like that... I mean like the books about it.." He asked expecting to hear him saying that it isn't normal.

Rahmu covered up his smile at the boy's surprise with how knowledgeable he was. It made him feel proud of the fact he was such a nerd. "I like it. Greek is by far my favorite, but I've read a bit about Norse and Japanese folklore. I have a friend that could tell you so much about the spirit realm, you wouldnt believe half of it." He chuckled, placing a hand on his hip as he studied the aptly intrigued youth. He hadnt thought being so open about his art nerd interests would delight the boy so much. It was a rare but wonderful thing to come across a child who took a real interest in the would of art, and most thought it was limited to actual visible concepts when it really went beyond tangible form.

"Whow..." He said. "Normally people ask me if I'm not too young to talk about those kind of things... " He thought about a lot of things but nothings came from it, he was somewhat confuzed. He thought this man would be joking with him, that he couldent be real about this.
