Yuki's smile widened. "I, too, like to study languages, but I am afraid I am not very good at any except Japanese. Most of my time and effort has gone into my art and everything else has been put aside."
He walked up to the front door and opened it, holding it open so that Haydn could get inside. "I like to think that people are good at some level. Even the ones who have done horrible things in their life... But it is up to them if they want to act on it or not. I can not force anyone to change..." He sighed and lowered his gaze to the floor. Back to thinking about Him again. Could He never leave Yuki alone?
"Come on, my aparment is on the second floor. Will you be alright with the stairs? I'm afraid we don't have an elevator here..."

He smirked
"Ever study german?.......Hm...I used to paint before the........nevermind..."
What..before the war? Before WWII? He looked like he was in his early 20's but having played a role in WWII? No need for this man to think him that much of a wierdo or crazy just yet.
"I can understand that.......All people? Or do you feel there are exceptions to your rule..?"
He then nodded, closing his eyes for a long moment then looking around
"Mm..Yeah my legs are fine..i should be able to make it.."

"Ah, no, never German. I have attempted English and French though. But like I said, I never really got the hang of them." Yuki replied and laughed softly. "So if you want to understand what I am saying at all, don't ask me to speak anything other than Japanese." He let the front door close behind them and then moved towards the staircase. He was kind of curious to know what Haydn had meant to say but he figured that if the other man didn't want to tell him, he shouldn't pry. But he figured one more question wouldn't do any harm. "What did you use to paint then?" Art was something Yuki could keep talking about for hours.
"Yes. All people." His eyes softened and a faintly sad look crossed his face but he quickly shook it off. "Everybody deserves a chance to do the right thing, and I am more than willing to give it to them, no matter who they are or what they've done to me or others."
Taking a gentle hold on the banister, Yuki started moving up the stairs, occasionally throwing a glance over his shoulder to make sure Haydn was doing okay.

He smiled warmly, thinking back to the simpler times.... "Mostly oils....Portriats, landscapes...a little of whatever struck my fancy...It all burned though......."
A smirk crossed his face as he spoke a fluet german in a lovely accent
"Du bist niedlich"
He then nodded slowly
"All people....Even Hitler, Mussolini, Vlad the Impaler?"
He took the stairs easily, his eyes blurring briefly as his head swam for just a moment, he took hold of the railing and steadied himself, maybe he had lost a little more blood than he thought..
((Pardon his horrible German, he'd speak perfectly..me...i use google translator ~.^))

Yuki smiled and nodded as the other man told him of his paintings. "That is too bad, I would have loved to see something you painted." He was always eager to see other people's work, evaluating each stroke of the paintbrush and every color choice. Of course, he never made any comments on what he saw, he just liked to see how other people worked. It facinates him.
"Oh, that sounds lovely. What does it mean?" The shorter man asked curiously and pulled his keys out of his pocked while he spoke.
"I... Yes, even them. I realize it might seem naive to believe in people like them, but who am I to judge? If I had had the opportunity, I probably would have offered them the same chance as everyone else. And it would have been up to them to do with it what they wished."
He reached the second landing and looked behind him, only to notice that Haydn had stopped and was using the railing for support. "Are you alright?" He asked worriedly and quickly moved back down the steps to the other man's side.

He clenched his jaw just a bit
"Father didn't approve of his son painting......."
The anger faded and he smiled just a bit
"Oh nothing really...... "
He glanced away and smile growing before he nodded to the answer of his last question, not pushing it much further. He nodded and started to move again once Yuki had noticed he paused. Another thing his father beat into him was to never show weakness...

"Ah I'm sorry. My parents never really approved of my art either, but they learned to live with it. Well, they had to, really, since I refused to do anything else." He smiled sheepishly and ran a hand through his hair. It wasn't often that he stood up to anyone like that, let alone his mother and father, but Art was the only thing that made him really happy and he refused to give that up.
He gave Haydn an odd look when he refrained from explaining what that frase meant, but let it slide. It probably was not all that important anyway.
"Here..." He said softly when he reached the Haydn's side and, without thinking, took the man's arm gently so that he could help him up the stairs. There weren't that many steps left, but he still felt the need to do it.

he chuckled a little and shook his head
"I wished i had that opportunity, But no, "the Valentin family's honor is in war, boy! You've shamed me enough that you will be a soldier! Any Shadowlord finds honor in war! not painting silly little flowers!" I can remember him yelling at me like it was yesterday..."
It didn't even phase him that he named his tribe when he spoke. Shadowlords, the germanic werewolf tribe, They believed themselves to be the only tribe fit to lead Garou kind in these troublesome days, known for being manipulative, backstabbing and ruthless, his father had been a very high rank and the Valentin's were highly respected in the motherland. Haydn and his brother though, had been long disowned by their family.
"Mm..Th......Thanks"
He hesitated for a moment then walked up the rest of the stairs

Yuki smiled sadly and nodded. Family was important, sometimes more important than anything else, so he understood. But it must have been awful to give up something you loved like that.
"You are a soldier? I didn't know that Germany had been a part of any wars in recent years?" It was probably rude to ask so many questions, but Yuki was genuinly interested and was feeling a lot bolder than usual so the words kept flowing out of his mouth.
Holding Haydn's arm in a gentle grip, Yuki helped him up the stairs to the second landing and then over to the door that led to his apartment. Only then did he release his hold on the other man and started to fumble with his keys, trying to get the heavy door unlocked.

He nodded and shifted a bit
"They haven't..and technically i'm an ex soldier...you wouldn't believe the details if i told them to you...you'd think i'm crazy..."
It was the truth..and why was he trying to keep things from this man he barely knew? what difference did it make. They never really hid anything anyway...Worst case scenario, there was a cozy box down in the alley with his name on it.

Yuki looked over his shoulder at the other man and smiled reassuringly. "Well, it doesn't really matter, does it? I'm just someone you met on the street, there's no need to tell me everything about your life. I was just curious anyway." Turning the key in the lock, he heard the familiar clicking sound and opened the door.
"Come inside and we can finally have a look at your wounds. You seem to have stopped bleeding, but I want to make sure they won't get infected or something." He walked into his apartment and slipped off his shoes, trading them for a pair of comfortable slippers as was the Japanese custom. Then, he set down his heavy bag on the floor. He still had work to do, but it would have to wait until later.

Hewaited at first then nodded and followed him inside only after being invited in, taking a moment to remove his boots as was customary and then casting a glance around the apartment. He didn't say anything at the moment, just observing

Yuki led the way into his small apartment. It really wasn't very grand. Just a kitchen, livingroom, bathroom and a bedroom. And all of them quite small. Fortunately, Yuki did not require that much room so this place suited him just fine. The only thing he really missed was an Art Studio, but he knew that he would never be able to afford one so he settled for doing most of his bigger pieces in the classroom at school.
"Let's go into the bathroom..." He said and moved down the hall to the very last door. It wasn't a very big bathroom, but at least it could fit two people. He bent down, opened a cupboard under the sink and pulled out some bandages before turning back to Haydn. He was once again chewing his lower lip. "Uhm.. Could you take off your shirt?"

He smiled as he looked over the apartment, it was nice. Once he started to move towards the bathroom Haydn followed him slowly, his eyes mostly closed, he was starting to feel the exhaustion from the blood loss.
He sat down on the closed toilet once inside, unbuttoning the few buttons that were still done on his shirt and sliding it off, He was still rather covered in blood but it appeared that all of the wounds were at some stage of healing

Yuki watched Haydn sit down on the toilet and then knelt in front of him as he took off his shirt. In any other situation, he would have been dreadfully embarrassed, but right now he was completely focused on his task. His eyes scanned the bloody torso thoroughly and a slight frown appeared on his brow. "When did you get these injuries? They are already well on their way to heal completely..." He trailed off and reached for a soft towel which he then soaked in water and used to wipe away most of the blood. All the while he made sure to be very gentle so that he would not cause Haydn any unecessary discomfort.
