Of course the standard forum rules count in the RPG section as well.
RPG rules:
Write in the past tense
It's most convenient to write and read if everyone writes in the same tense.
Write with punctuation
A sentence starts with a capital and ends with a full stop and if a character says something you put this between " ".
Don't godmod
Godmodding means that you write what someone else's character says or does. It's not your character so please don't do it.
In consultation with the other person you can write a composed reply.
Don't be a powerplayer
This is just as important as godmodding. Don't do it!!
A powerplayer is someone who plays characters with only strengths and no weaknesses. If he's in a fight with another character, he will never lose. He turns the story in such a way that it's always convenient for him.
It is very annoying to have a character in front of you that has no flaws and cannot be defeated.
If you're suspected of powerplaying, you will get a warning.
Wait
People can't be online 24/7, so if you're for instance in an rp with three people and the third one is not online for a couple days, don't make massive posts with the other person and therefore giving the third person no chance to reply. It can be very annoying for that person to come back after his absence and to notice that he's completely out of he RPG. Please arrange this yourself in the OC board.
Keep OC remarks in the OC board
The out of character board is here for a reason. A little comment once in a while is completely fine, but a part of the plot for example is more convenient to post in the OC board.
Post your dolls in the BJD Character Database
Before you start writing, you need to post a biography of your BJD in the Character Database. It's really difficult to write a story with someone if you have no idea what a character's looks or personality are.
Post an OC thread
Before you start writing, you need to start a topic in the OC board where you can tell people what sort of rp you want to write and how many people you want to "recrute". You can put "open" in your thread name if you are still taking people to join your rp and change it to "closed" if you have enough people. This number of people is completely up to you of course.
Do not jump into an rp
You can only join rp's through the OC board, so don't randomly start posting in an rp in the RPG board that you didn't join. These posts will be removed and you will get a warning to prevent any more mistakes.
