At first I was thinking maybe Asik needed to kill this vampire guy, but he fails because well... he doesn't really take into acount vampires excist. But he does manage to survive.

Yeah I was in dubio whether he would have to hunt Yuki or someone else.
Also, how the hell would he manage to escape Yuki? And why would Yuki let him live next time, and who would they hunt together?

Maybe Asik could say something to Yuki, just before Yuki kills him. Something very personal. Something that makes Yuki want to let him live, at least for a bit longer.
Or maybe Yuki is intruiged by Asik's manner of hunting and killing.
