"Who am I?" the owner of the hands sang amused.

Kris almost dropped his cellphone. Then he took a deep breath.
"So...who are you?" he asked and grabbed both of the hands to pull them to his chest.
"May I guess?"
And with a grin he quickly turned around.

"There's no point in guessing now, is there?" Yami grinned at him.
He noticed the cell phone in Kris' hand and he grinned even wider.
"Were you gonna call me?" he asked with a sweet tone.

Whooops.. Kris blushed red...
"No..I was just...going to call you...." he whispered. He was staring at Yami's boots for a while.
Then he chuckled
"No..this is so embarassing...and now I think even my ears are red, aren't they?"
He glanced at Yami.
"So you're really ready to be a high school student?"

"Ready as I could ever be," Yami grinned.
"Don't be embarrassed hun. We will be class mates soon!"
He rubbed Kris' cheek for a second and then pulled him along.
"Show me to the principle's office?"

"Ok then let's go."
Although Kris didn't really feel like going into the school's building he followed Yami. The first class had just ended so the hallway was crowded by students and just like yesterday they were staring at them.
"It looks like you're going to be famous" Kris grinned. "and I'm sure they are guessing what you have to do with me..." he laughed and stopped walking.
"That way." he pointed at a big white door
"I think I'll wait for you here...."

"It warms my heart to know that you'll wait for me fair maiden," Yami winked and he kissed the palm of Kris' hand.
"I'll be the same as you when I walk out."
He knocked on the door, opened it, winked one more time at Kris and then went in.

Fair maiden... Kris was wondering what could that mean.
Then he went to the window and leant out of it. He was trying to imagine his days with Yami as his classmate and maybe as his...friend.
While he was waiting the bell rang and the classes started. The school became silent.

About an hour later, Yami stepped out of the principle's office again. He had a broad grin on his face, but when he looked around he couldn't find Kris anywhere.
"Class probably..." he muttered.
"I hope this school thing won't get inbetween us."
He put a piece a paper in the pocket of his pants and started to walk to inspect the school.

As for Kris he was really in class. He'd been in the midst of daydreaming (while was waiting for Yami at the window) when his homeroom teacher noticed him. She looked extremely furious and warned Kris that she'd tell everything his parents-about his grades and skipping classes too often. Kris definitely didn't want that.
So thats why at the moment he was trying hard not to fall asleep in the most boring history class he had ever been.
I'm wondering what Yami is doing now..aww this going-to-the-same-school thing isn't fun at all so far. At least not for me.. Kris sighed, maybe a bit too loud because the teacher glared at him with curiosity .

Suddenly there was a sound of tapping on the window. The students and the teacher turned their heads to see who was the rude interruptor. Yami stood in front of the window, grinning broadly and waving at Kris. He mimicked something with his mouth which looked like "I got in".
The teacher looked at Kris again and he raised his eyebrow.
"A friend of yours?" he asked slightly sarcastically.

Kris was gasping for breath. All eyes were focused on him and he felt that he was turning red.
"ohh...he is....umm...actually..." he was searching for the words. Then he looked at Yami and blushed even more.
"...yes he is" he said at last in a low voice.

Kris was thinking for a moment, then slowly stood up. He looked like was still trying to pull himself together.
"Okay... I'm going to talk to him..."
He walked to the door and opened it.
"Well...Don't expect me back soon" he said as he left the classroom.

"Hey honey!" Yami said cheerful when Kris had closed the door behind him.
"Look at thiiiiiiiiis," and he waved around the signed application form in front of Kris' nose.
"Looks like we'll be class mates soon!"
