I don't mean to be a bother but is there any chance you'll be releasing more skin options? I'm loving on the board muchly but I find it very difficult to look at the board for too long because the green is quite hard on my eyes ^^; I could even help if you'd like

I do have to concur, maybe something with more subtle colors as well. If you need help i'm more than willing. Web Design is my profession ~.^

I switched mine to the blue color scheme and it's a lot better. I have pretty sensitive vision naturally so neon colors can give me migraines or screw with my head. But the blue is tolerable. ^^

Phew, that's good. I also think it really depends on your computer screen, because on my laptop the green skin didn't look as bright as on Stievel's screen.

The blue is still strikingly bright on my screen (I even use a color calibration tool, being a web designer i have to make sure my colors are white) It can become very straining to look at for long periods of time.

I'm really sorry, I just love bright colours. I'll see what I can do.

Black and white is too plain and not good for anyone's eyesight. Meaning, you stare at monochromes for too long and you can inevitably mess up your vision. Color is a good thing but you need to select a good medium so that it works all-around. Neon colors like what Y-n-Y typically likes are some of the more modern color palettes that are too strong for those who suffer from light sensitivity.
For me, since I have light eyes, I'm highly sensitive to different kinds of lighting and colors that use a lot of light in them like neons. I can tolerate them only if I'm wearing protective sunglasses, have the lights off in my room, and/or dim the brightness of my monitor, which I do anyway to conserve memory on my laptop. ^^ My family picks on me all the time cus I tend to work in the dark simply because even average household lighting gets to me after awhile.
If you need help on choose nifty skins, I have access to several skin boards being a veteran forum admin and I can help you find one so you dont have to make them all yourself. ^^

I think I'll make a Yuki one with white and dark red. Would that be okay?

Maybe an off white would help. Reading black on white on a computer screen is also stressful on the eyes and you normally want to avoid it when doing a web design. Even if it's just an eggshell white it'll make a difference
