Trouble at School

Having past the boy Astra quickly walked to a chair somewhere in the back and sat down, trying not to draw too much attention to himself.
He wanted to reply to the conversation, but he didn't know the Eagles.
Seconds after that the classroom filled up. There was no chance to ask anyone anything.

As the two other students entered without even apologizing for being late the mans eyes twitched a little.
He was about to speak up when the class filled with other students.
The teacher turned a side of the blackboard. On it was written a name.
Asik Ammon
He turned to the class. "This is my name, but you will call me mister Ammon or Professor Ammon." he spoke up. He paced in front of the board a little.
"Do not bother pointing out that my last name is like the Egyptian god. I know."
He cleared his throat. "Take your books and turn to page 71. Read this chapter quietly." His eyes rested on the first three people that entered the class.
"because you were all late, you will all stay for an extra five minutes. Any questions?"
His gaze told everyone that if anyone dared to ask questions he cold count on spending more time after class.

One of the girls raised her shaking hand.
"Yes?" Yamato smiled at her.
"How... how old are you...?" she asked, almost whispering.
Yamato laughed for a second, though it didn't sound mocking at all.
"I'm 24," he answered and some of the girls started whispering amongst each other.
"Right, if there aren't any more questions, I'd like to start class," Yamato said and he clapped his hands together.
"Please take your books and open them on page 47. I want you to make exercise 4, 5 and 7."

Kris'd gladly admitted that history wasn't his strongest subject. He didn't really understand why would be useful for him to know all those dates and facts that had happened in the ancient times. OK there are some people who are interested in knowing everything about the past, but - for instance- he doubted that this old man was happier if he knew that some random high school student'd draw moustache on his portrait in a history textbook 500 years later...

The classrom was silent and the students were busy with reading the text. Kris peeked at the two boys who arrived right after him. It looked like they were really good friens. Kris was envious of them. He have never had a so called "best friend". It was so easy when it came to sex but being friends or...or lovers was an entirely other story. He had never been that close to anyone.

Then he started thinking about this scary history teacher whose name really sounded like an Egyptian god's. He was quite good-looking at the second glance and Kris was wondering how old was he..then he felt Mr Ammon's glance at him so he thought it'd be better to start reading.

Gabe pulled out his book and flipped to the page, then dug out a note book and set to work on the problems assigned without question

.: Kou sighed and glanced to Skidder
"The egyptian god is spelled A-M-U-N, Amun-Ra, the sun god, his is spelled more like the ancient biblical nation off the river of Jordan, the people were called ammonites oh yeah, and Ammon the founder was born of an incestuous relationship.... "
He murmured to Skidder as he flipped through the pages assigned looking over the chapter. Science and History were his two favorite subjects. Back when he was younger he tested with an IQ of 141 not that anyone would really know that by the way he acted:.

Astra quietly opened his books and started answering the questions. He finished quite quickly. He was certainly not the first to finish though.
He wasn't one to just look around though, as soon as he finished he got out a book and started reading.

Asik heard the murmering in the back and spoke up.
"Interesting conversation, do tell the class."

After a couple minutes Yamato clapped his hands.
"Right! I see that most of you are finished, so does anyone know the answer to question number four?"
He smiled at his students and went with his hand through his caramel coloured hair to get it out of his face.

Gabe looked over his answer to the question but remained quiet. He could admit..yes...the teacher was cute...

.:Kou shook his head and started reading leaned back in the desk holding the book in the air

"Nah i'm good."

Skidder shook his head with a smirk on his lips:.

Kris was busy drawing hearts and flowers into his textbook when the the "conversation" between Mr Ammon and the tall student started. He looked at them with curiosity like everyone else in the classroom.

Astra knew the answer, but he wasn't really sure whether he should answer.
He didn't really feel the need to speak up in class too much, but then again, English was one of his favourite subjects.
Carefully he raised his hand, his girly face was bright red.

Asik blinked a couple of times. "That was not a request, Kou." he said. Asik had memorized all the names of the students by the photos of their files. "Tell us." his eyes had an evil glare in them.

"Yes!" Yamato said gratefully and he pointed at Astra.
"The girl with the silver hair. What's your name?"

Gabe looked to the girl who was singled out, listening for the answer.

.:Kou chuckled and looked to the man
"Oh only that the Ammon from biblical days was born from an incestuous relationship between a father and daughter? That's all really."
He went right back to reading..what could the man do? throw him out? He tested too well and had too good of grades to be expelled:.

Wow he is really smart thought Kris. and reckless too then he looked at the teacher anxiously and wished that the class was over soon...

Astra blushed, he didn't really wanted to be picked out.
"Astra, sir." he stumbled. "I uhm.. I think the answer is taught."

Asik frowned, it was the last answer he had expected. He also wondered for a second whether it was suggesting something about him.
"So it is." he said. "Still I do not appreciate you talking in my class, if you really wish to say something, raise your hand. Since you seem to like your history, you get to write me an essay on this subject, to be handed in on next friday."

"That's correct Astra," Yamato smiled at him.
"You don't have to be nervous. Do you have an idea why the answer is taught and not teached?"
